Case Edit

To edit a case, you must first select it from the main viewing page.  The case will then be visible.

 

Click the Edit icon
in the left upper corner to switch into edit mode. The background of the icon will change to yellow.

The yellow pencil icon on the far left of the edits areas also indicated Edit mode.

Each of the text areas on the left hand column can be clicked to to edit the contents. Click the right arrow on right to open the section and the down arrow to close the section.

Case Information

Case Title and Unknown Case Title

Enter case title to be displayed.

Unknown Case Title is the title of the case which will be displayed when the case is viewed as an unknown.

Copyright

Enter copyright information for case.

Category

Click to select each of the subspecialty categories for the case.

Modality

Click to select each modality for the case.

Level

Click to select case difficulty.

Read Access

Click to select read access to the case. By default, all users are view the case.

  • Authors
    • Only authors of the case can view.  This is a way to designate a private case.
  • All users
    • All logged in, registered users can view case.
  • Public
    • Anyone that can access the website can see the case. No restrictions on viewers.

Update Access

Click to select update access to the case. By default, only authors can edit the case.

  • Authors
    • Only authors of the case can update or edit the case.  This is a way to designate a private case.
  • All users
    • All logged in, registered users can update or edit the case.
  • Public
    • Anyone that can access the website can update or edit the case. No restrictions on viewers.

Export Access

Click to select export access to the case. By default, all users can export the case. This includes exporting images as PowerPoint slides or scrolling stacks, TIFF images with annotations, videos, JPGs.

  • Authors
    • Only authors of the case can export the case.  This is a way to designate a private case.
  • All users
    • All logged in, registered users can export the case.
  • Public
    • Anyone that can access the website can export the case. No restrictions on viewers.

Authors

Entering first few letters of author’s name in the white box will help you find the name you are looking for. Click green save button in upper left corner when complete.

Entering Case text information

The remaining fields on the left hand side, including Abstract, History, Findings, Differential Diagnosis, Pathology, Discussion, Comments, Notes, Keywords, and References can be edited by clicking on their respective bars.

The Quiz field is a work in progress which allows the author to create an interactive question.  Users can answer the question and get feedback and remediation on their answers. Previous user data is displayed to show how others have answered the question. Email info@radpix.com for access to this feature.

Enter the information into the popup box and click the green save button in upper left corner when complete.
